A trade agreement signed at the Azerbaijani-Slovenian business forum in Baku will give fresh impetus to cooperation in the digitalization of the economies of both countries, Tanja Drobnič, head of the Internationalization Promotion Department at SPIRIT Slovenia, said on Thursday.

“There is significant potential for the exchange of a wide range of services and products between Slovenia and Azerbaijan,” she noted.

Drobnič added that the digital transformation of both economies presents a valuable opportunity for joint progress.

“The memorandum of cooperation signed today between Slovenian company Kontron and Azerbaijani firm Bestcomp is an important step toward strengthening digital ties between our countries,” she said.
