Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan discuss joint projects and investment ties

Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Laziz Kudratov held a video conference to explore joint investment and industrial projects.

Both ministers underlined the importance of the political will of their respective leaders and recent high-level visits in advancing bilateral ties.

Jabbarov noted strong potential for cooperation in food and industrial production, especially within Azerbaijan’s industrial zones, including those in Garabakh.

The ministers also reviewed the growing economic partnership between the two countries and discussed expanding cooperation through joint initiatives.

The session included a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Investment Company, which focused on promoting mutual investment and strengthening business links.
