Azerbaijan's AZAL to launch flights to Kazakhstan's Shymkent from June 28

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will begin regular flights from Baku to Shymkent, Kazakhstan, starting June 28 as part of its route network expansion.

According to the airline, flights between Baku and Shymkent will operate three times a week: departing from Baku on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and returning from Shymkent on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

Currently, AZAL operates flights from Baku to Kazakhstan's Almaty, Aktau and Astana. No other airline offers direct flights between Baku and Shymkent.
