NomadMania travelers club's trip to Khankandi begins

The trip of the NomadMania travelers club to Azerbaijan's Khankandi city has begun, Report informs.

During the visit, travelers receive extensive information about the city.

Following the territorial claims initiated by Armenians against Azerbaijan at the end of the last century, a policy of ethnic cleansing was carried out in Khankandi city and surrounding villages. The Azerbaijani residents of the city were subjected to pressure and physical torture.

During their Khankandi visit, the travelers also visited Karabakh University. The guests were informed about the activities of university and how the education process is organized in accordance with international standards.

Over the past five years since the Patriotic War, 12 trips to Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur have been made by large delegations from the world's major international traveler networks.
