The European Union Mission in Armenia has removed the word "genocide" from a social media post referring to the events of 1915–1923, Armenian media reported on Thursday.

The mission initially published a message on platform X using the term “genocide” in reference to the so-called Armenian genocide. However, the post was later edited, with the phrase replaced by “memory of the victims of 1915–1923.”

No official explanation for the change was provided.
