The first selection round of Azercell Cup 2025 successfully concluded

The initial selection phase of the "AZERCELL CUP 2025" programming contest, organized through a partnership between “Azercell Telecom” LLC, the Ministry of Science and
Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the Institute of Education, has been
completed.

Approximately 4,000 students from grades 6 and 7 participated in the first online round,
and 216 students advanced to the next round.

The second stage of the Azercell Cup 2025 is scheduled for May 3rd, with the grand final
on June 7th. The top 30 performing students will benefit from specialized training designed
to enhance their programming knowledge and skills. Furthermore, the most exceptional
participants will be afforded the opportunity to join the national informatics team and
represent Azerbaijan in future international competitions.

Launched in 2021, the Azercell Cup serves as a key initiative to cultivate students' interest
in digital technologies, programming, and computer science, while simultaneously fostering
their academic and personal growth.
