Construction of Zabukhchay water reservoir nearing completion

The construction of the Zabukhchay water reservoir is nearing completion, said Aliaga Azizov, a representative of the Azerbaijan State Water Reserves Agency (ADSEA), during his speech at the National Business Development Forum.

He noted that five water reservoirs are currently under construction in the Karabakh region.

Azizov added that the agency is also working on three major projects: the Hovsan Aeration Station, the Shirvan Canal, and a seawater desalination facility.

Approximately 25% of the country’s water resources are generated in the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions.
