Slovenia is offering a robust incentive package to attract foreign businesses, including those from Azerbaijan, to establish offices, production facilities, or logistics hubs in the country, a top official said.

Speaking to Anews.az, Mitya Blaganje, Secretary General of the Ministry of Economy, Tourism and Sport, said the one-stop agency SPIRIT Slovenia assists investors through all stages, from location selection to legal and tax consultations.

The support includes grants and subsidies for strategic investments starting at €500,000, tax breaks for hiring socially vulnerable groups, and customs relief in the Koper port free zone. Slovenia also plans to invest €17 billion into transport and logistics infrastructure by 2030.

Blaganje emphasized that Slovenia aims to create a sustainable and competitive environment for long-term foreign presence in its market.
