Azerbaijan produced 16.7 bcm of natural gas in January–April 2025

Azerbaijan produced 16.7 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas in the first four months of 2025, according to official operational data.

Of the total output, 4.5 bcm came from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 9 bcm from Shah Deniz, 0.5 bcm from Absheron, and approximately 2.7 bcm from SOCAR.

Gas exports for the period totaled 8 bcm, including 4 bcm to Europe, 3.1 bcm to Turkey (1.9 bcm via the TANAP pipeline), and 0.9 bcm to Georgia.

During the same period, oil production reached 9.1 million tons. Of this, 5.3 million tons came from ACG, 1.3 million tons (condensate) from Shah Deniz, 0.2 million tons from Absheron, and 2.3 million tons from SOCAR.

Total oil exports reached 7.8 million tons: 6.6 million tons by international consortiums, 1 million tons by SOCAR, and 0.2 million tons from Absheron.

Oil refining volumes stood at 1.8 million tons in the reporting period. In April, daily oil output was 75,100 tons (566,000 barrels).

Since the launch of the ACG and Shah Deniz fields up to May 1, 2025, Azerbaijan has produced a total of 656.8 million tons of oil (including condensate) and 480 bcm of gas.
