Azerbaijan fails to qualify for Eurovision 2025 final

Azerbaijan’s representatives failed to qualify for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, following the first semi-final held Tuesday night in Basel, Switzerland.

The country was represented by the group Mamagama performing the song Run With U. The band took to the stage as the 10th act and completed their performance without technical issues. Their use of the traditional Azerbaijani instrument, the saz, drew attention from the audience.

The countries advancing to the final are: Norway, Albania, Sweden, Iceland, the Netherlands, Poland, San Marino, Estonia, Portugal, and Ukraine.

The final is scheduled to take place in Basel on May 18.
