Russian citizen involved in a fatal car accident in Baku

A pedestrian was killed on the spot after being hit by a vehicle driven by a Russian citizen in Baku’s Khazar district, Report news agency said on Wednesday.

According to the report, a “Volvo” car driven by 49-year-old Russian national Imiraslan Shikhveledov struck 49-year-old pedestrian Sabir Huseynov as he was crossing the road.

A criminal investigation into the incident has been launched.
