Azerbaijan, Uruguay sign cooperation deal between diplomatic academies

Azerbaijan and Uruguay have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation between their diplomatic training institutions, Uruguay’s Foreign Ministry said.

The agreement, signed on May 20, will allow for curriculum exchange and academic collaboration between Azerbaijan’s ADA University and Uruguay’s Artigas Foreign Service Institute.

The signing coincides with the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and Azerbaijan’s Independence Day.

The MoU was signed by Uruguay’s Director General of the Foreign Ministry Secretariat, Andres Pelaes, and Azerbaijan’s non-resident ambassador to Uruguay, Ramzi Teymurov.
