Azerbaijan spent 500,000 manats on breeding Karabakh and Dilbaz horses last year

In 2024, 500,000 manats ($294,100) were allocated from the state budget in Azerbaijan for the purpose of breeding and improving the breed of Karabakh and Dilbaz horses, according to the bill "On the implementation of the state budget for 2024," anews informs.
In addition, last year, 500,000 manats was allocated for financial assistance to cocoon drying stations, free distribution of cocoon seeds to cocoon producers from the state budget and other agricultural measures, 200,000 manats ($117,650) (to the Gakh Breeding Sericulture Station) for free distribution of cocoon seeds to cocoon producers from the state budget, 100,000 manats ($58,823) for organizing agricultural product sales fairs, 900,000 manats ($529,410) for expanding the application of information technologies and the Electronic Agricultural Information System in the Ministry of Agriculture, 300,000 manats ($176,470) for the implementation of state programs, and 10 million manats ($5.9 million) for the preparation of orthophotos and the application of artificial intelligence, for a total of 12.5 million manats ($7.35 million).
