Azerbaijan opens embassy in Kenya

Azerbaijan has opened an embassy in Kenya, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan wrote on X, anews informs.

“In the margins of his official visit to Kenya, Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, together with Musalia Mudavadi, EGH, Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs of Kenya, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Kenya.

Foreign Ministers assessed the opening of the diplomatic mission as a crucial step towards sustaining and strengthening Azerbaijani-Kenyan inter-state relations, facilitating communication and promoting cooperation.

Minister Bayramov also acknowledged the favorable environment and conditions created by Kenya as the host country for the proper functioning of the diplomatic mission,” reads the post.
