AZAL cancels flights to Israel, Iran and UAE amid Middle East escalation

Azerbaijan’s national carrier AZAL has cancelled several flights to Israel, Iran and the United Arab Emirates due to heightened tensions in the Middle East and the closure of regional airspace.

According to the airline, the following flights have been cancelled:

June 13

Baku – Tel Aviv – Baku (J2 021/022 and J2 321/322)

Baku – Tehran – Baku (J2 8017/8018)

Baku – Dubai – Baku (J2 011/012)

June 14

Baku – Tel Aviv – Baku (J2 021/022)

“Flight safety remains AZAL’s top priority,” the airline said. Passengers are advised to contact the airline’s call center at [email protected].
