Azerbaijan boosts gold output by 64% in Jan-May – statistics

Azerbaijan increased its gold production by 63.9% year-on-year in the first five months of 2025, reaching 1.297 tonnes, the State Statistics Committee said on Tuesday.

Silver output rose by 23.8% to 1.686 tonnes during the same period.

Gold in Azerbaijan is produced by Anglo Asian Mining and the state-owned company AzerGold.
