Gold dips below $3,330 per ounce

Gold prices fell below $3,330 per troy ounce on Wednesday, down 1.1% in early trading.

August futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange’s Comex division dropped to $3,329.9 per ounce, according to market data.

The decline comes amid a stronger U.S. dollar and investor caution over inflation and interest rate expectations.
