Azerbaijan destroys 639 kg of Russian-imported onion rings over bacterial contamination

Azerbaijan’s Food Safety Agency (AQTA) has destroyed a 639-kilogram batch of onion rings imported from Russia after detecting pathogenic bacteria in the product.
The contaminated onion rings were produced by the "Miratorg-Zapad" facility and imported by Mirtorq LLC. According to the agency, laboratory tests on samples revealed the presence of harmful bacteria.
In line with national regulations, authorities decided to destroy the entire batch.
