UN aware of tensions between Azerbaijan and Russia

The United Nations is aware of the rising tensions between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation following a series of incidents, UN Secretary-General’s spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric said on Tuesday.

“We are fully aware of the tensions between Azerbaijan and the Russian Federation stemming from a number of incidents. We are closely monitoring developments in both countries. We hope all these issues will be resolved through diplomatic channels,” Dujarric stated.
