Azerbaijan targeted during Iran–Israel war, parliament committee says

Azerbaijan was deliberately targeted by coordinated disinformation campaigns during and after the recent 12-day conflict between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the State of Israel, the Azerbaijani Parliament’s Committee on Combating External Interference and Hybrid Threats said on Tuesday.
In a statement, the committee reported that hostile forces operating from neighboring countries, particularly from the territory of Iran, had spread false narratives about Azerbaijan’s role in the conflict via platforms such as Telegram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and YouTube.
The statement added that the campaign also aimed at influencing Iranian public opinion and fueling anti-Azerbaijani sentiment within the country.
