Azerbaijan's budget surplus drops 3% in first half of 2025

Azerbaijan recorded a state budget surplus of 2.708 billion manats in January–June 2025, down 3% compared to the same period last year, Report news agency said, citing the Ministry of Finance.

Budget revenues totaled 19.804 billion manats, while expenditures reached 17.096 billion manats, up 5.1% and 6.5% respectively from a year earlier.

Revenues exceeded the forecast by 3.7%, while expenditures were executed 1% below the projected level.
