Azerbaijan appoints new rector for medical training institute

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has appointed Nazim Panahov as rector of the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after Aziz Aliyev, the presidential press service said on Sunday.

Before the appointment, Panahov served as vice-rector for academic affairs at the Azerbaijan Medical University.
