Azerbaijani diaspora leader deported from Russia

Elshan Ibrahimov, head of the Azerbaijani diaspora in Russia’s Moscow region, has been deported from the country, according to Russian media.

Footage published by the Telegram channel Iz.Ru showed Ibrahimov at the airport shortly before his departure.

He declined to speak to journalists but said he felt "somewhat disappointed" about leaving Russia.

Asked about his future plans, he responded - “Time will tell”.
