Food scraps, moisture and cracks attract cockroaches — expert

Cockroaches often appear in homes due to leftover food, moisture and structural cracks, biomedical expert Mariana Eclisse told Pravda.Ru.

She noted that open trash bins, dirty dishes, and standing water are key attractants for pests. Cracks in floors and poor window sealing can also let them in.

Eclisse said the presence of cockroaches often indicates poor hygiene and inadequate home sealing.
