Bitcoin hits all-time high above $121,000

Bitcoin surged to a new record high of $121,014 early Monday, according to data from the Binance trading platform.

The price increase represents a 2.82% gain and was recorded at 07:41 Baku time.

Bitcoin, a decentralized digital currency operating on blockchain technology, was first introduced in 2008 by an individual or group under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Its supply is limited, with most coins already mined.
