Azerbaijan's health ministry meets Pfizer representatives

Azerbaijan’s Health Minister Teymur Musayev met with a Pfizer delegation led by Dmitry Kozenkov, head of the company’s Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia operations.

Musayev noted that four vaccines were used during the COVID-19 pandemic in Azerbaijan, including Pfizer-BioNTech, which was approved by the WHO for emergency use. The sides discussed prospects for introducing other vaccines and enhancing cooperation.

Kozenkov praised Azerbaijan’s independent and effective COVID-19 response.
