Azerbaijan’s deputy FM meets Iranian ambassador in Baku

Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov met with Iranian Ambassador to Baku Mojtaba Demirchilu to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments, Iran’s IRNA news agency reported on Tuesday.

The sides exchanged views on the current state of Iran-Azerbaijan relations as well as ongoing regional and international issues.

Ambassador Demirchilu said that ties between the two countries are developing based on friendship and brotherhood.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continued cooperation based on mutual interests and the need to further strengthen bilateral relations.
