Baku to face heatwave with temperatures up to +40°C on August 7

 Sunny weather is forecast for Baku and the Absheron Peninsula on Thursday, with daytime temperatures reaching up to +40°C, the National Hydrometeorology Service reported.

Nighttime temperatures will range from 25°C to 29°C. Atmospheric pressure is expected at 757 mm Hg, with humidity at 70–80% at night and 40–45% during the day.

Elsewhere in Azerbaijan, mostly dry weather is expected, though brief showers, thunderstorms and hail are possible in mountain areas. Daytime temperatures may reach 41°C in some regions, and up to 33°C in the mountains.
