Baku records heat of up to 40°C

Temperatures in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula reached up to 40°C on August 7, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service.

The agency reported temperatures of 37–41°C in the lowland regions and Nakhchivan, and 30–33°C in mountainous areas.
