Russia and Azerbaijan to hold intergovernmental economic commission meeting next week

Russia will host the 23rd meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan next week, Trend news agency reported citing an informed source.

The commission is co-chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk and Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev.

Last Friday, Overchuk confirmed: “At the end of next week, I have a meeting scheduled with the Azerbaijani side. We will also discuss issues related to the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus. The process is ongoing.” The meeting will take place in Russia, he added.
