Azerbaijan’s Emergency Ministry: 505 fires reported last week, 5 bodies found

 Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) reported 505 fire-related emergency responses last week, along with 35 rescues from helpless situations, seven traffic accidents, and one explosion.

According to the ministry, a total of 57 people, including 11 children, were rescued. Four people were injured and four others were evacuated. The bodies of five victims were recovered and handed over to relevant authorities.

The operations were launched following calls to the MES emergency hotline “112”.
