Azerbaijan ranks 107th in the world for potato prices

Azerbaijan has ranked 107th in the global potato price index compiled by Numbeo.

According to the survey, the average price of one kilogram of potatoes in Azerbaijan is $0.72. The ranking covers 127 countries.

Among neighboring states, Armenia is placed 101st ($0.80), Georgia 109th ($0.66), Turkey 108th ($0.70), and Russia 95th ($0.88).

The world’s most expensive potatoes are sold in Iceland at $3.7 per kilogram, while the cheapest are found in Bangladesh at $0.36.
