Fire at Baku’s Sadarak shopping center contained – emergency ministry

A fire that broke out on Monday at the Sadarak shopping center in Baku’s Garadagh district has been contained, but crews are still extinguishing smoke pockets, Azerbaijan’s emergency ministry said.

The blaze started in a rented warehouse, the ministry said. Around 140 personnel and dozens of fire engines were deployed, and nearby facilities, including a fuel station, were protected.
