Pakistan is interested in adopting Azerbaijan's ASAN service model

Pakistan is keen to implement Azerbaijan"s ASAN service model to improve the quality of public services delivered to its citizens, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Pakistan"s Federal Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications, said during a meeting in Islamabad with Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan's ASAN service, Report informs via Pakistan's Business Recorder newspaper.
"Pakistan is working to apply the ASAN service model to enhance the quality of public services. The country has all the necessary conditions for its successful implementation - strong political will, digital readiness, and integrated identification systems," said Shaza Fatima.
In turn, Ulvi Mehdiyev noted that more than 400 services are currently provided at ASAN service centers across Azerbaijan, with a citizen satisfaction rate of 99.9%. He highlighted the modern approach Azerbaijan has adopted in delivering public services, emphasizing its efficiency and accessibility.
The meeting was attended by senior officials from both countries, including Azerbaijan"s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, and Second Secretary Behbud Qadaly.
The Pakistani publication also described the ASAN service as a revolutionary step in combating bureaucracy.
"Experts say that successful implementation of ASAN in Pakistan could significantly enhance the efficiency of public administration and strengthen public trust in government institutions - a crucial step for a country aiming for digital transformation," the newspaper wrote.
