Putin and Pashinyan hold talks in Moscow after nuclear forum

Russian President Vladimir Putin met Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the Kremlin following an international nuclear energy forum, the Kremlin said.

Talks took place in the First Building’s representative office with officials including Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, Deputy Foreign Minister Dmitry Lyubinsky, Russian Railways chief Oleg Belozerov and Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev.

Pashinyan was joined by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan, Armenian nuclear plant chief Eduard Martirosyan and his press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

The last in-person meeting between Putin and Pashinyan was on Aug. 31 in Tianjin, China.
