Rain expected in Baku and regions on Oct. 1

Short rains are expected in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula on Wednesday, October 1, the National Hydrometeorology Service said. Precipitation will stop during the day, with mostly dry weather expected afterwards.

By evening, a strong northwesterly wind will shift to a northeasterly. Air temperature will range from 15–17°C at night to 17–19°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will be 767 mm Hg, with relative humidity of 70–80%.

In some regions of Azerbaijan, short rains are forecast, with possible thunderstorms. Local downpours, hail and wet snow in highland areas are possible. Fog is also expected in some places. Nighttime temperatures will be 13–16°C, daytime 17–21°C; in the mountains 4–8°C at night and 9–14°C during the day.
