Azerbaijan and Turkey central banks discuss global and regional economic trends

Azerbaijan’s central bank governor Taleh Kazimov met with Turkish central bank chief Fatih Karahan.

The meeting took place in Istanbul during the 7th OIC-COMCEC Forum of Central Banks.

Kazimov said the two sides exchanged views on global and regional economic trends, financial stability and monetary policy.

He added that both countries enjoy strong socio-economic ties and stressed the importance of deepening cooperation between their institutions.
