Azerbaijan launches free flu vaccination campaign
06.10.2025 16:00

The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan announced the launch of a free seasonal flu vaccination campaign starting from October 8, 2025.

According to the ministry, preventive and anti-epidemic measures are being strengthened as respiratory infections tend to spread more widely during the autumn-winter period.

Safe and certified vaccines produced by the French company Sanofi Pasteur have been supplied to the country.

Vaccination is especially recommended for healthcare workers, pregnant women, and individuals over six months of age with chronic respiratory diseases. The vaccination is free of charge and available at public medical institutions by place of residence or work.
