Azercell-supported“Azerbaijan Children Hotline”received nearly 1,600 inquiries in the third quarter of 2025

The majority of inquiries were submitted by adolescents aged 15–18

The “Azerbaijan Children Hotline”, operating with the support of Azercell, recorded a total of 1,594 requests between July and September 2025. Similar to the previous reporting period, psychological support need (512) remained the primary reason for contact. Additionally, the service addressed 261 social issues, 232 cases of violence, 227 requests for legal assistance, 98 education-related matters, 14 related to healthcare, and 250 inquiries covering various other topics.

According to the statistics, 59% of callers were female, 29% male, and 12% preferred to remain anonymous. By age distribution, the majority of inquiries (1,147) involved adolescents aged 15–18, followed by 335 from the age group 11–14, and 112 concerning children under 10 years old.

The inquiries were received both via digital channels (social media, email, and the website) and telephone calls, each accounting for 50% of the total.

As part of its targeted efforts to support children in vulnerable circumstances, the Hotline’s team invited 34 families to its center and provided them with legal, psychological, and psychosocial assistance. Overall, more than 90 social-psychological rehabilitation sessions were held, while emergency visits were arranged to three schools and families. Alongside direct support, the Hotline’s team continued organizing awareness-raising and outreach activities to enhance public understanding of the serviceand promote children’s rights protection.

The “Azerbaijan Children Hotline” operates under the management of the “Ümidli Gələcək” Public Association for Social Initiatives, with the support of “Azercell Telecom” LLC and the State Committee for Family, Women and Children Affairs.
