Gold hits new all-time high

Gold futures for December delivery surged to a record $4,350 per ounce, according to Comex data. By 2:00 a.m. Baku time, the price stood at $4,354 (+2.5%), and by 2:15 it had climbed further to $4,367.8 (+2.83%).

The Financial Times reported that the rally is partly driven by inflows into gold funds, with global investors putting $15.5 billion into them in September.
