IMF sees Azerbaijan’s forex reserves at $11.9 bln by year-end

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) forecasts the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s foreign exchange reserves will reach $11.9 billion by the end of 2025.
Reserves are expected to decline to $11.7 billion by the end of 2026 and to $9.6 billion by 2030, the IMF said.
As of Oct. 1, reserves stood at $11.31 billion, up 0.5% from Sept. 1. Compared with the start of the year, reserves have risen 3.2%, but they are 4.1% lower year-on-year.
