Energy ties bring Baku and Astana closer

Kazakhstan’s government has approved a draft agreement on strategic partnership with Azerbaijan in the energy sector, according to a decree by the Cabinet of Ministers.

Under the document, the two sides plan to strengthen cooperation in the oil and gas industry, renewable energy, and other areas of mutual interest.
