Gold rises to $3,995 per ounce

Gold futures rose 0.46% to $3,995.35 per troy ounce in global commodity trading, exchange data showed.

On New York’s COMEX, December silver futures fell 0.48% to $47.818 per ounce.

Analysts said price moves reflected a stronger U.S. dollar and investor shifts toward higher-yield assets.
