Bayramov offers condolences to Fidan after Turkish C-130 crash

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone call with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry said.

Bayramov offered condolences over the crash of a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft, expressing sympathy to the families of the victims and wishing peace to the souls of the deceased.

He said Azerbaijan remains in close contact with the relevant authorities in Turkey and Georgia and stands ready to join search-and-rescue efforts and provide necessary assistance.

Fidan thanked Azerbaijan for its condolences and solidarity on this difficult day.
