Azerbaijani parliament announces agenda for 9 December plenary session
The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will hold its next plenary session on 9 December, with 16 items placed on the agenda.
Key discussions will include the third reading of the 2026 state budget and the budgets of the State Social Protection Fund and the Unemployment Insurance Fund. Draft laws on the 2026 minimum living wage and subsistence level will also undergo their third reading.
The agenda features a broad package of amendments to the Tax Code and legislation on social insurance, state duties, medical insurance, customs tariffs, cashless payments, disability rights, and several health-related laws.
Parliament will also review the 2026 expenditure estimates of the Milli Majlis and the Chamber of Accounts, as well as the appointment of A.A. Huseyn as a judge of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Supreme Court.
A constitutional amendment concerning additional guarantees in the parliamentary confidence procedure for the Cabinet of Ministers will be considered in its second vote. Third readings of draft laws on internal troops, civil service, energy efficiency, military service regulations and amendments to the law on road traffic are also on the agenda.
