Average monthly wage in Azerbaijan rises 9.4%

The average monthly nominal wage of salaried employees in Azerbaijan reached 1,086 manats in January–October 2025, marking a 9.4% increase from the same period a year earlier, the State Statistics Committee said on Tuesday.

As of November 1, the number of salaried workers in the country’s economy stood at 1.782 million, including 865,700 in the state sector and 916,700 in the non-state sector.

According to the data, 18.8% of salaried employees work in trade and vehicle repair, 18.1% in education, 14% in industry, 8.6% in healthcare and social services, 6.7% in construction, and 6.3% in public administration, defence and social protection.
