Britain will not send aircraft carrier to the Middle East

The UK has not confirmed plans to send the aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales to the Middle East to strengthen the security of its military facilities in the region, British Prime Minister's Office says, citing Financial Times.

According to him, "no decision has been made regarding the dispatch of the ship."On March 7, Sky News reported, citing a source, that the UK is preparing for the possible deployment of the HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier, based in Portsmouth, to the Middle East.
