‘Single window’ system to boost Azerbaijan’s transport and transit appeal

Azerbaijan will introduce a “single window” information system for import-export, transit, transport and logistics operations under a decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

The system aims to digitalise documentation, track cargo flows, simplify border procedures and improve coordination among state agencies.

Agil Asadov, a department head at the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, said the move would strengthen Azerbaijan’s competitiveness on international transport routes, including the Middle Corridor.
