The oldest folk festivalHeld in the town of Slavonski Brod in eastern Croatia’s flat, farm-filled region of Slavonia, the Brodsko kolo is Croatia's largest and oldest traditional dance and song festival, running for three days each June. With hospitable locals and fascinating history, Slavonia also has some of the country’s best-preserved folk traditions – yet it sees a fraction of the visitors of the coast and islands.
