Serbia’s national carrier Air Serbia will begin operating direct flights between Belgrade and Baku on May 3, 2026, the airline said.

According to the company, Air Serbia plans to launch direct services to six destinations next year, including Azerbaijan’s capital.

The schedule includes flights to Santorini, Greece, from April 30; to Baku from May 3; to Toronto, Canada, from May 23; to Seville, Spain, from September 30; to Tenerife, Spain, from October 27; and to Tromso, Norway, from December 14.

In late November, Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek told Serbia’s public broadcaster RTS that talks with the Azerbaijani side on launching direct Belgrade–Baku flights were in the final stage.
